Melisa Buchowiec is an associate in Palmer & Barr’s Philadelphia office where she concentrates her practice on the defense of clients in civil litigation involving automotive negligence, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims and premises liability matters.
Prior to joining Palmer & Barr, Ms. Buchowiec gained significant experience in representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation. Ms. Buchowiec has handled a caseload of over one hundred cases and has experience conducting alternative dispute resolutions, arbitrations, and jury trials involving personal injury. Ms. Buchowiec practices in Pennsylvania and brings a unique perspective in evaluating claims as she understands both the plaintiff and defense sides.
Ms. Buchowiec attended undergraduate school at Rutgers University and earned her law degree from Villanova University School of Law, where she served as a member of the Moot Court Board. She also served as a student attorney for the Villanova Law Clinic for Asylum Refugee and Emigrant Services where she successfully conducted trials in the Philadelphia Immigration Court obtaining asylum for her clients.
Being born in Poland, Melisa is fluent in Polish. And, outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her very active Weimaraner, named Kaiser.
